It is not our policy to increase our following by name calling, and endless responces to "you are just writing rubbish" comments. Were the world not entering the most dangerous epoch it has ever seen, we could suffer idiots who gain satisfaction by writing such.

We have not, however, brought in censorship to our blog. We have rather brought in a few rules – of the most fundemental sort that (it would appear) many Norwegians did not learn at school.

1. An argument consists of the claim that it is true, and the case that you at the same time make in order to back it up. This should preferably include some examples or references.

2. Premisses are things that are not said, but assumed in the argument and it is upon these assumptions that the truth of an argument rests. Therefore it is possible and indeed legitimate to have two opposing arguments.

3.In order to use reasoning to find which argument holds water, you will sometimes find it necessary to make the premiss the argument.

CQD aims to reach the truth about things. For this reason you are permitted, for example to say, that you disagree with what is written here or anywhere else on either CQD or its sister blog CQD 911. However, you may not write "this is rubbish", stating that as a fact without making your case that that is so.

You shall not engage in ad hominem attacks. If you do, and if you do not have the education to say why you believe that something you have read is rubbish, may we suggest that you do a little more reading and a little less commenting. Your comments shall not be printed on CQD or CQD 911.

This post is written – for the benefit of cetain readers – who instead of addressing the merits of the case we have presented, have committed yet another unforgivable sin against reasoning and logic. To wit: that those who do not have Norwegian as their mother tongue should "perhaps" write in English so that they can "understand". Their patronising attempt to silence the other part is poorly disguised , and shows quite simply that these people understand what they want to understand.

CQD and CQD 911 are therefore moderated as of today, Sunday 18th March.
